The steel structures that we manufacture rank among the strongest on the market.

This is a result of very good construction designs as well as professional and careful execution.

Every structure that leaves our factory is CE marked, and it is consistent with the new PN-EN 1090 standard. Our products have been assigned execution class EXC3, which, in practice, boils down to them being high quality products subject to regular quality controls.

The foundations are the base of every assembled structure.

In principle, our foundations are composed of foundation footings cast on site, and sill plates. Each of them is reinforced to ensure stability of the structure even in the case of unfavourable geological conditions.

Our foundations are usually provided with thermal insulation and moisture control solutions. Correct levelling and installation of the anchors guarantee stability and durability of the entire structure. To ensure high quality the construction of foundations for our buildings is undertaken only by specialist construction teams that specialise in this kind of work only. Thanks to their experience the following stages of construction become much easier. The investor is also free to have the foundations constructed by a third party company, or to do it themselves.

Steel halls are used in many industries. Companies that need a warehouse, production, logistic, commercial, agricultural or sports hall most often choose light, durable and durable steel buildings. It is characterized by very good technological parameters. Moreover, the assembly of steel halls is quick and efficient.

High-quality material

Steel halls are made of steel. They are assembled from plate girder steel frames, consisting of mullions and transoms. All components are made of stainless steel, resistant to adverse environmental conditions. Steel is a very durable material with a long service life. The entire steel structure must have appropriate certificates and meet the required safety standards. The class of execution and periodic inspection of the technical condition of the facility are also important.

Assembly of steel halls

At the initial stage, it is necessary to prepare a design that takes into account individual customer preferences related to the specificity of the industry for which the steel hall will be intended. After obtaining the appropriate building permit, you can start assembling the hall. First, profiles for mullions and frame transoms are connected. All the posts are then positioned and leveled and the wall transoms are attached to them with the appropriate fasteners. Then the frame transoms are mounted on the poles, and the roof purlins to them. In this way, the skeleton of the hall is created, in which inter-slab braces are also attached, as well as wall and roof bracings, which are to fill and stabilize the structure. The tie rod with a hanger installed at the end additionally strengthens the hall frame. At a later stage, internal mullions and transoms are installed, supporting the gable walls. A structure prepared in this way requires only the assembly of external cladding.

The assembly of steel halls and other large-scale facilities is an area in which Kobexstal has many years of experience. Our employees are professionals, so each order is carried out reliably and accurately. Thanks to this, the steel halls made by us will be durable structures that will serve the customer for many years. Kobexstal is a trustworthy company, enjoying a reputation both among domestic and foreign customers. They are the best proof that the cooperation with us is a guarantee of reliability and timeliness. Each assembly of steel halls is carried out in cooperation with experienced designers, construction managers and construction workers. Well-qualified Kobexstal staff will carry out the assembly of steel halls for you with attention to every detail, even the smallest one, which is very important for the success of the investment and the subsequent strength and durability of this type of structure.

The next important stage is the assembly of enclosure that will ensure appropriate thermal insulation properties and a nice look of the building. Every building will have such properties determined at the design stage.

A team of experienced engineers will determine the quantity of panels or metal sheets needed, the types of metal sheets elements to be used, and will put forward and provide a rendering of the colour concept. This will eliminate potential mistakes and give the customer an insight into the look of the building before assembly.

Our steel buildings are used in many areas of business. Sometimes the structures that we make are at a risk of exposure to fires that can compromise their stability (wood storage, carpenter’s shops or public utility buildings). In such cases, according to the recommendations of fire service, we may paint the steel elements with specialist fire retardant paints that will increase the efficiency of steel exposed to high temperatures. The application of the paint increases the chances of the structures for walking out of the fire damage-free. Such fire protection measures also extend the time intended for emergency evacuation of the building.

One of the cheapest anti-corrosion measures is the application of special paint on steel structures. To this end we use a variety of paints selected according to the environment in which a given structure stands.
