PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

In 2021, we built another steel building according to the KOBEX engineering design for a turnkey steel structure building for KAWMET

KAWMET Cast Iron and Non-Ferrous Metal Foundry has been producing casts since 1981. From the very beginning, the company’s activities have been focused on the production of cast-iron heating devices, casts for industrial fittings, machine parts and artistic casts.

Buildings’ dimensions: 110 x 33 and 48 m

KOBEX’s scope of work:
– Pre-engineering, fabrication and assembly of steelwork
– Delivery and on-site erection of the façade and the sandwich panel roof
– Complete detailing
– Complete gutterwork
– Installation of KOBEX continuous roof light

The steelwork building made for KAWMET is a two- and three-bay facility which houses overhead cranes. Both buildings have been supplied lighting through a ridge skylight. The walls have been insulated with PIR board.
