Hangar type steel buildings

We offer a 12 m wide structure, which is particularly suitable for small sites and for any building length.
With respect to avionics, facilities based on this solution can be used as maintenance workshops and hangars for medium-sized or light aircraft such as small jets.

Single- and multi-bay steel buildings are amongst the most commonly used structural systems. They are used in the aviation industry as, for example, hangars for protecting aircraft and gliders, as well as a place for ongoing maintenance and repairs.

We have commissioned the Rzeszów University of Technology to carry out R&D works for us to be able to develop innovative structures put together with components without the use of welding. Our state-of-the-art structural steelwork uses bolted connections with appropriately selected initial stiffness and strength limit load.

The hangar type buildings can vary in terms of cladding. A popular solution is a polyurethane sandwich panel, as well as a mineral wool sandwich panel. Our panels come in two categories, wall and roof panels, plus you can choose the method of panel installation. It can be either vertical or horizontal, with a concealed or exposed connector. Trapezoidal sheeting would be a low-cost solution used when the building does not need insulation.

Our hangar buildings for small jets or helicopters have appropriately sized gates and lighting in the form of wall windows and skylights. Ridge, barrel vault or flat glass skylights at the top of the building further improve visibility.

Steel buildings for aircraft
