PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Construction of “Norgpol Industrial Research and Development Institute” suite of buildings consisting of an office building and production and warehouse building

Both buildings were delivered as per a proprietary KOBEX design

First building dimensions: 36 x 84 x 8,70m
Second building (adjoining the office building): 30 x 64 x 8,62m

KOBEX’s scope of work:

– Foundation works for steel structure buildings including material

– Fabrication and erection of steelwork

– Fabrication and installation of cladding

– Detailing including gutterwork for steel buildings

– Continuous roof lights

– Gates including loading dock ramps

– Laying the foundations for the office

– Delivery of a shell office building

Both the first building we built and the other one (adjoining the office building) provided for NORGPOL are two-bay steelwork structure buildings. Both have an overhead crane in one of their bays. The buildings were provided extra lighting through sizeable ridge skylights. The walls and the roof were insulated with PIR board in: RAL 7016, RAL 9002
