PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
In 2021, we completed another steel hall based on a KOBEX design — a turnkey steel hall for the company Kawmet.
The KAW-MET foundry of cast iron and non-ferrous metals has been producing castings since 1981.
From the very beginning, the company’s operations have focused on the production of cast iron heating devices, industrial valve castings, machine parts, and artistic castings.
Hall dimensions: 110 x 33 and 48 m
Scope of KOBEX’s work:
Prefabrication and assembly of the steel structure
Delivery and installation of wall cladding and roofing made of sandwich panels
Comprehensive installation of sheet metal flashings
Installation of a complete gutter system
Installation of a skylight strip manufactured by KOBEX
The hall built for the company KAW MET is a two- and three-aisle structure equipped with overhead cranes. Both buildings are illuminated by a ridge skylight running along the roof ridge. The walls were insulated with PIR sandwich panels.
